JOB SUMMARY
Troublesome Creek Medicine has an opening for a medical office specialist with an exciting, new organization in Buckingham County.
Our team will truly make a difference in our community. This will be a unique experience that will combine providing care
in multiple settings including the office, patient's homes, and other requested locations. Troublesome Creek Medicine will provide care
to meet our patient's needs. Our service provides care in the traditional setting but also will be mobile for those who aren't able to travel,
too sick to get out of bed, and for those who get sick at work.
The Medical Office Associate will manage phones, schedule appointments, register patients in a practice management system, collect co-pays, manage all paper documents, and perform all other administrative tasks typical of a medical practice.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required for Medical Office Specialits
Prior administrative experience in a physician practice strongly preferred
Strong computer skills a must
Ability to multi-task and communicate effectively with all levels essential
EMR experience a plus
Other: Customer driven. Demonstrate a positive demeanor, good verbal and written
communication skills, and professional approach.
